ctommy is so interesting to me as a character because he’s a fascinating balance of dualities. he’s gentle and kind and loves so much and takes care of animals. and he’s also an annoying ass smelly teenager who laughs too loud and steals your stuff for fun. the tommy who picks boogers to chase you with and the tommy who carefully plants flowers are one and the same. i think this makes him a difficult character to get right bc if you sway too far in either direction you end up with a flat caricature. too soft and scared and affectionate and he’s been woobified. too mean and aggressive and uncaring and he’s been vilified. he has the patience to sew his own clothing but he’ll cut you in line without a thought. he has the compassion to care for vulnerable animals but he’ll also trip you and laugh when you fall. hes more complex than the typical ‘mean on the outside softy on the inside’ character because the brash outside isn’t just an act to hide his vulnerabilities. that’s also part of who he his. and it’s really hard to balance those aspects properly and i think that’s where a lot of c!tommy content struggles.
You know the day I first watched his stream(in YouTube actually) he was SO ANNOYING that i have no idea why i’m still here happy for tommy for who he is and has become. This however really get the perspective of him, complicated but his simply just him he can change but never change the heart he hide with his annoying child like behavior. I love who he really is and his still who he really is from stream and vlog to strangers and to his dearly love to others, maybe include the once he hate because that’s just who he really is. Despite all that he stay true no matter what.

i wish there were more fics that tackled the dsmp story on a much wider scale, from like the perspective of a full country with thousands of citizens rather than just a couple dozen… like i crave a novel about the socioeconomic consequences of schlatt’s rule is what im saying. i want to see citizens shouting at the gates of the white house demanding a solution to the food shortage. i want to hear about the badlands’ monopoly on the steel industry and how blacksmiths in manberg are struggling to keep adequate inventory as a result. i wanna meet families whose homes were destroyed on november 16th or january 6th or any of the other wars that have occurred. i wanna see pogtopia with dozens of refugees huddled inside, cramped and cold and hungry. i wanna hear about the woods outside manberg and how schlatt’s guards and hunters are patrolling it constantly, searching for whatever game they can find and preventing average citizens from hunting their own food. i want to see quackity promising solutions at a public rally and having to flee the stage when the audience starts rioting in protest. i want to see newspapers and political cartoons and graffiti and drinking songs and people!! i want to see people!!!!

I didn’t know this. So I looked it up and - HE ACTUALLY DID.
‘I keep my van well stocked. It’s got a proper machine that dispenses Mr Whippy ice cream and I buy my lollies wholesale – 50 for a tenner – so I never run short.
I’m not allowed to sell my merchandise. I’d need a licence for that. ‘I tend to avoid July and August, but the rest of the year I’ll drive around the local villages and if I see some kids looking like they’re in need of ice creams, I’ll pull over and dish them out for free. They’ll say, “Ain’t you Ron Weasley?” And I’ll say, “It’s strange, I get asked that a lot.”
It makes it even better that he just GIVES the icecream away.
